He has worked as a Principal at Tagore Government Arts and Science College, Pondicherry, since 2017 & was the former Registrar of Pondicherry University.

He has 25 years of experience, of which he has served 13 years in academic administration.

Apart from his numerous academic laurels, he stands out also for his exemplary work in various social outreach and charity activities. As an administrator, he continuously accepts new challenges and responsibilities. His distinct contributions have been recognised in the form of well-deserved awards, namely one of the best administrators in Puducherry UT and the Chief Minister’s certificate of appreciation for his efforts in promoting greenery on the campus and making it environment-friendly.

The latest feather in his cap is the Indian CSR Award for Environmental Responsibility and Initiative of the Year 2022 & been awarded the Shrimati Shakuntala Shakthi National Award for Meritorious Work.

He has been Awarded Green Man, Tree Man, and Forest  Man of Puducherry. He has been featured in Better India, Dettol India, Covid Warrior, BBC, ANI, NDTV, Google, and Reader’s Digest, amongst many others.
