At Divey Foundation, we understand that the key to sustainable empowerment lies in providing the right skills to those who need it the most. Through our D-Shram initiative, we focus on skill development for youth, with a particular emphasis on empowering girls and women from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. We firmly believe that financial independence is a cornerstone of women’s empowerment, and through this initiative, we aim to elevate the economic standing of these individuals by equipping them with valuable vocational skills.
India’s youth constitutes a significant portion of the country’s population and workforce. However, many young people from underserved communities face barriers to education and lack the proper guidance and skills to succeed. D-Shram is committed to harnessing the potential of these young people, redirecting their energy toward productive paths that can lead to financial stability and self-sufficiency.
Our programs are designed to provide practical, industry-recognized skills that are essential for meaningful employment. The courses are tailored to meet market demands, equipping participants with hands-on experience and entrepreneurship skills. These programs not only enhance employability but also empower individuals to become self-reliant and contribute to the growth of their communities.
Our training methodology emphasizes experiential learning, where students are actively involved in practical exercises and real-world scenarios. We offer diverse courses, ranging from soap and candle making to computer literacy and English language skills. In today’s digital age, we also focus on building digital literacy, ensuring that our trainees are well-equipped for the technology-driven world.
What sets D-Shram apart is our commitment to long-term support. We stay connected with our graduates for up to two years after they complete their training. This mentorship ensures that they are not just ready for the job market, but also equipped to thrive in real-world work environments. Our trainers act as guides and mentors, helping graduates navigate challenges and adjust to new career paths.
